Violation Description: Mr C complained about the care his (late) mother received at the care home she lived. He said this resulted in distress to him and his mother. We found there was a delay by the care home in ensuring Ms X had heating in her room, and the staff did not regularly change her bedding during a three-month period. The care provider will apologise to Mr C for the distress this caused and reimburse part of the care home fees for these periods.
